It's Wednesday-- let's write it.
Man, I don't know about y'all but this month has been a bit of a struggle bus. I'm grateful for the new ways that I struggle though because they look NOTHING like the old ways. #organ Amen and Ase
How's it been a struggle? Recently I been thinking about how Iyanla Vanzant talks about trust in her book entitled Trust-- and how she talks about if you wanna trust you have to be able to understand spiritual and cosmic law; and how the best way to understand this law is to look at nature and the seasons-- and how they reflect all life. Well my dears it is spring-- and mamas been thinking about the idiom "April Showers, May Flowers. "
Spring is a time where the seeds that were planted early, or the things that have died during winter must push through the darkness of the soil to find the light, bud, and then begin to blossom. This all happens in one season. Spring is also a time for planting new seeds, that you want to see in bloom by Summer.
I don't know about you, but this is exactly how my life is feeling right now. I'm pushing through some darkness to reach the light with some things that I planted in March. I also am still planting some new seeds/ projects/ endeavors. It's easy for this time to FEEL like it's winter because of the darkness-- and because winter is a time to allow for things to be dead, quiet, asleep-- all of the above. But this time my dear friends, is not winter... it is Spring.
So, continue to water yourself. Let it rain on you baby. Let it refresh you. Allow the rain (the obstacles, the trials, the confusion at some times) to flow and to replenish you, your seeds, and your soil. April has been showering... it makes me think of the song 'Close' by Marvin Sapp...
He sings: "I must be close, to my overflow. Must be close, to my miracle-- cuz here come trials, troubles, jealousy, and envy. I must be close to what you have for me-- I must be close-- to my destiny. Extremely close-- to my overflow!!!"
BE PREPARED FOR YOUR FLOWERS COME MAY! We've made it through another month, with a few more days to finish it out. So, receive the rain that comes your way. Let it refresh you. Let it saturate you. Soak it in. Do not diminish it. If you're off track, trust that the rain is there to help you grow and get back on track. Your trajectory is to blossom. God is for you, not against you. Universal law is for you, not against you. ARE YOU FOR YOU, AND NOT AGAINST YOU?
I hope you are. Sending you all my love as you allow yourself to be watered, and receive the end of your April Showers-- so you may bear ALL of your MAY FLOWERS. I'm claiming mine in all the areas I've received rain-- health, financial wealth, my home-life, relationships, I mean it all.. God has been raining.. and instead of getting mad or sad... I'm choosing to be grateful and glad-- cuz mama wants to grow.. after all, I'm LITERALLY a flower.
